Shrimp Bisque
Ingredients
- 1 lb. cooked shrimp 26/30
- 4 tablespoons Butter
- 1/2 cup celery, chopped finely
- 1 medium onion, minced
- 1/2 cup carrots, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup finely chopped mushrooms
- 2 cups half & half cream
- 4 cups Chicken Broth
- 1 tablespoons of fresh lemon juice
- Dash of Nutmeg
Instructions
- Melt butter in a large soup pan. Add all vegetables ans spices and simmer for 10 minutes until the onions are translucent. Add chicken broth, fresh lemon juice, and salt. Simmer for additional 10 minutes. Add half & half cream and shrimp. Bring to a boil and serve hot.
